This diptych explores the current me's perspective on my child self's understanding of the relationship between my mother and her adulthood dog who never forgave my mom for leaving home to further her career and start a family. He did not like me much but in hindsight it's because when we met (when I was not an insensate baby) I was a pest of a child and he was a very senior dog.
